There is no greater personal reward than to give freely of one’s time and effort towards a cause you truly believe in. Volunteers are an integral part of the success of The Robert McLaughlin Gallery.
While volunteerism provides a great satisfaction, it also contributes towards needs which have not been met in the organization. Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer tour guide or in joining our dynamic Volunteer Committee.
Tour Guide
Love Art? Love Learning? Become a Volunteer Tour Guide!
The Education Department is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our dedicated team. Our volunteers share an interest in learning and introducing children to Canadian art, culture and history. Weekly discussions are based on our Permanent Collection, new featured exhibitions, and various art styles/movements. Teaching and touring techniques are also addressed.
Commitment is flexible and applicants are welcomed throughout the year.

The Robert McLaughlin Gallery has always been proud of its volunteers, who, over the years, have contributed enormously to our growth and ongoing success. Volunteers are found in nearly every area of The Robert McLaughlin Gallery’s operations, from managing the Gallery Shop, and Art Rental & Sales, to fundraising and special events.
