Summer Art Camp 2010

An Artist’s Studio II
Monday, 16 August to Friday, 20 August
Ages 12 to 15 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
New projects! Topics include acrylic painting on canvas, mixed media collage, clay sculpture, plaster cast sculpture and papermaking. Students also tour current exhibitions for inspiration and insight into the art making process. Participants hold their own art show in the studio for family and friends on Friday afternoon. *Some activities may take place outdoors. Please bring a peanut free lunch.

Land Ocean Space
Monday, 23 August to Friday, 27 August
Ages 5 to 8 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Join us for a week of exploration of our world and beyond by creating art using various methods such as painting, sculpture, architectural design and perspective. Projects will include landscapes, seascapes, painting nebulas and animal sculptures.
$70 Members / $80 Non-Members

Sculptures and Structures
Monday, 23 August to Friday, 27 August
Ages 9 to 12 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Create relief and 3D sculpture using clay, plaster, plaster cast and wire.
Build a structure using found objects and a variety of art materials.

Draw, Paint, Print and Sculpt II
Monday, 30 August to Friday, 3 September
Ages 5 to 8 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Ages 9 to 12 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
New projects! Explore a variety of materials and art making methods
including oil pastel and marker drawing, acrylic and watercolour painting, frottage and clay sculpture.
