Doors Open is a province-wide celebration of community heritage designed to create access, awareness and excitement about our heritage. In Oshawa a number of heritage buildings will have their doors open. Please visit the Heritage Oshawa Website for more details about each location. Our doors will be open from 12-4pm.
Outside the gallery we are hosting free life drawing sessions throughout the day on a drop-in basis. This fun, family-friendly drawing experience will feature costumed models. Supplies will be provided but please feel free to bring along your own sketchbook! 2-4pm.
Eleven in Motion: Abstract Expressions in Animation. In an exciting new project, the Toronto Animated Image Society, in conjunction with Christopher Cutts gallery, have commissioned eleven independent Canadian animators to make films inspired by the works of each member of the Painters Eleven. Join us in celebrating the opening of this new exhibit. Opening reception 1-3pm.
