ArtReach

Educational Community Outreach

The RMG’s ArtReach department functions as an educational
outreach program which brings understanding and passion for art to our community.

ArtReach strives to engage citizens of all ages and stages of life with art to encourage community involvement at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, under a broad range of exciting programs and learning opportunities. All initiatives and programming are supported by the generous endowment of Elizabeth Aleen Aked.

ARTREACH PROGRAMS & COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

Over the last three years the Education Outreach department has successfully partnered with: local high school students, teachers, colleges, universities, shelters, seniors groups, community social groups, libraries, galleries, art therapists and many more groups and organizations to provide exciting workshops and programming. Through this interaction we have succeeded in providing the community with exceptional learning experiences. Our programs take advantage of the Gallery’s renowned permanent collection as well as our dynamic calendar of visiting exhibitions. The Outreach department is also proud to sponsor events such as Artist led Symposiums, Tours & Workshops and guest lecturers in the fields of Visual Arts, Design and Film.
