A Building by Design

Created as an expansion of the original gallery in 1987, this exceptional building honours the achievements of artistic excellence within its walls while celebrating the architecture that surrounds it.

Conceived by the Canadian architect Arthur Erickson, the Gallery is part of the Civic Centre in downtown Oshawa and overlooks the Civic Gardens. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery offers a unique and dramatic setting. View the spectacular skylight atrium and stroll through 11,000 square feet of
exhibition space.
