Life Drawing 

Master techniques of gestural expression, value, volume, perspective and more while studying the human form.
An excellent class for adults who want to improve their drawing skills or secondary students looking to 
expand portfolios. All materials included.

New The Art of Colour

Thursdays, 26 April to 31 May
6:30pm to 8:30pm


Learn the fundamentals of colour theory, colour mixing, neutrals, colour interactions, schemes and contrasts. Build on your knowledge of colour through experiments 
and work on a final painting by using the skills you learn in class. Please bring in photographs that you will use for reference for your final painting.

Summer Camps
For Ages 12-16

    

An Artist’s Studio

9:00am to 4:00pm

Explore a variety of traditional and modern art making methods including plaster mould making, acrylic painting on canvas, papermaking, drawing games and more. Try your hand at various paint application methods and drawing techniques to capture realism and gestural drawings. Some activities may take place outdoors weather permitting. Please bring a nut free, litterless lunch.

Animation Camp

Explore the art of stop motion animation! Campers work in teams to create story boards, back drops and poseable puppets. Animate a short film on DVD to take home at the end of the week! The video will be posted on YouTube to share across the globe!

Superhero Graphic Novels

1:00pm to 4:00pm

Are you a fan of comic books or graphic novels? Do you have a story would like to put into pictures? Perhaps you’ve invented a superhero or want to tell a tale from your own experience! Enjoy a week of creating your own superhero graphic novel. Draft, edit, draw and ink your story and artwork using artist quality drawing materials. By the end of the week campers will take home a hardcover bound copy of their graphic novel.
